FRAC Summer Handicap
FRAC kicked off the week with the annual Summer Handicap Tuesday, with 41 members racing on the day followed by a well deserved barbecue . Congratulations to Nikki Goodwin who won the Cup for fastest female, completing the run in a time of 30.41 and Congratulations to Nick Steele who came in at an amazing time of 26:55, taking the cup for the fastest male, well done to you both. Another runner who deserves a mention would be Sylwia Tokarska, who was first back in a time of 36:17, well done Sywia. New Romney 10K
Finally some sunshine arrived on Sunday, and with this, members from FRAC headed to New Romney for the annual 10k, with some great results. Our very own Daniel Radcliffe came in 2nd place overall, in a time of 33.28, whilst Simon Ramsay came in 7th overall, and 1st in the Vet 40 in a brilliant time of 37:01 and Torben Jessen came in 1st in the Vet 60 category, 14th place overall in a fantastic time of 00:38:26. Well done to all that took part.

Further afield two club members, Andy and Lisa Smith took part in Athletic events, as Lisa says “A fabulous and hot day at the Southern Athletics League in Horsham for Andy and myself” each both earning PBs on the day!
