Club nights

Our regular training nights are Tuesday and Thursday nights, 6.30pm – 8.00pm, at Three Hills Sports Park.

We meet in the downstairs locker room for a short chairperson’s update before beginning the session.

Sessions begin with a 10 minute warm-up and instructed dynamic stretching.

The main training session runs for approx 45 – 60 minutes and are led by our coaches in accordance with our 8 week plan.

Thursday night social run

We have introduced an alternative club run on Thursday evenings which start at the same time as the standard club session.

Led by two qualified coaches, the run will be around 5 miles long with members running in groups and no runner being left alone – Routes will be announced on the night.

The runs are suitable for all abilities as long as the runner can safely and comfortably run 5 miles. The sessions are ideal for those who are:

  • returning from injury
  • racing at the weekend
  • looking for an enjoyable run with a friendly group

Circuit training

Each Wednesday between 8pm – 9pm, our coaches offer indoor circuit training at Three Hills Sports Park.

The sessions are ideal for:

  • improving core strength
  • endurance conditioning
  • mobility and agility.

The sessions cost £1 per week which contributes toward the hire of the sports hall.

Cross-country training

Between October and February, our coaches offer cross-country training on Saturdays at 9am.

Sessions take place at Brockhill Country Park in Saltwood, where parking charges may apply.

Further details will be made available during September 2019.

Track training

During Spring and Summer, our coaches offer track training on Saturday mornings at the Julie Rose Stadium.

Dates, times and cost will be communicated to members closer to the time.
