- Ian McGilloway at the Didcot 5 miler
- Stuart Erksine at the Rye 10K
- Andy Hadlow at the Herne Bay 10K
Report
There is no stopping Ian McGilloway. He is proof that, as an older athlete personal bests really can come true. Finishing 7th overall and first male Vet 40, Ian ran a PB time of 28:10 at the Didcot 5 miler on Sunday morning.
Back running after injury Andy Hadlow ran a PB at the Herne Bay 10K in 48:35
New member Kayleigh Cumber set herself the challenge of running the Hever Castle half-marathon. With beautiful views and a well-supported run, Kayleigh was delighted to finish this tough hilly slippery trail run in 3:02:42.
Caroline Curtis also set off on an off-road hilly trail run around Hadleigh park in Essex opting to take part in a 10-mile 2 lap challenge. With a ‘spasm’ and ‘complete lock’ in her left glute Caroline had to pull up after the first 5 mile lap and was shocked to hear she had taken 2nd place for the ladies in the 5 mile competition as she limped up to collect her trophy.
The Smiths and the Lancefields continue their family adventures allowing their children all dressed in pink, to get muddy at the mote park 5K obstacles run in Maidstone.
On Friday night, Stuart Erskine ran the Rye 10K and bagged a PB of 40:31 by 19 seconds.

Ian McGilloway also hit his target time and a PB scoring 102.00 but Angela Warren managed 102.1 proving the handicap works.
Kate Lancefield scored the highest of the day 105.9 knocking out Vicky Scott who scored 94.9.
