Triathlon

Morgan West continued his impressive form in the British Triathlon Super Series sprint event. He place 11th overall and 6th in his age category with a time of 59:23 at Eton.

Trail Running

Caroline Curtis ran the Lingfield 10, a hilly ten mile trail race through the Surrey hills, dry corn fields and woodland. She finished 7th lady in 1:24:04. Tony Scott completed the hilly multi-terrain 30K North Downs Run in 03:42:07.

East Kent Relays

Ladies

With one race to go in the five race East Kent relays series the senior A team are just one point off first place and still very much in contention. With the very high standard of competition this year Emma Creasy produced an excellent performance to run the fastest leg of any of the women’s teams. Senior B fielded a team for the first time this year and finished fifth.
V35 – both A and B team are only two points off first place.
V45 – pulled a point back on Thanet and currently in third
V55 – A team held on to fourth place and the B team continue to top their table

Men

With the men’s senior A league now a two horse race between Invicta and Ashford AC, Folkestone senior A team will need to reproduce their early form to go third ahead of South Kent and Ashford & District. The B team are tied third with South Kent and Thanet
V40 – the A team still hold a one point lead going into the decisive last race and the B team are joint second.
V50 – the A team are a point off first and can come first by finishing ahead of Ashford & District in the last race. The B held on to second.
V60 – didn’t field a team and stayed fourth

Parkrun Cup

Lisa York moved into the second round scoring 97.5 to Paul Walsh’s 95.6. Tony Scott got a bye into the second round as Paul Bartlett withdrew through injury.
