Wednesday 28th August was Sonia Markwell’s birthday so to celebrate she and a few other members of FRAC went to Battersea and ran the Battersea evening 5K event. Times were as follows: Times are as follows: Caroline Curtis 23:40 (2nd Vet 55) Alan Randall 25:23 (2nd male V60) Jane Wren 26:03 (3rd female V55 ) Sonia Markwell 27:32 (3rd female V45).Â
On Sunday at the Dover Seafront 10k Karla Lardner finished in first place for her age category Female Vet 50 in 46:57 and 8th female whilst James Barney came home in 16th place overall in a time of 40:45. Excellent results from both !!!
In London in rather warm conditions several FRAC runners took part in the Big Half 2024. First home was Tom Bean in 1:20:36 closely followed by Josh Pine 18 secs behind in 1:20:54. Results were as follows:

In Shoreham Jenny and Phil Heathfield completed the Shoreham 10k trail canicross event with both finishing with Banjo and Marley in his first event in 1:12:36. Brilliant effort by both humans and dogs!!
