Dover Western Heights, steeped in history, covered in mud and drowned in drizzle was the setting for the Western Heights Trail Race this Sunday. Five intrepid Folkestone Running And Athletics club runners braved the elements to take on this challenging, undulating coarse. It was a fabulous run, if really muddy, but the runners all enjoyed running through the historic sights of the Grand Shaft, Citadel and Grand Redoubt.
Linnaea Stockall was 1st lady, in 2nd place, in 2:23:25 minutes, Neil Adams finished in 3:07:24, Sylwia Tokaska in 3:10:05, Phil Maull in 3:22:34.

Folkestone Running and Athletics Club members had a very successful day in Dover. David Tyler was the first runner back in a time of 16:41 with Karla Larnder the first female runner back in 21:59. Also running were Andrew Hadlow 23:01, Neil Adams 28:05, Roy Atkins 28:06, Sarah Nunn 29:32.
