Sunday saw the Annual Maidstone Harriers Turkey run. In the main race for FRAC was Philip Heathfield who finished in 59:35 in 65th place /352 with Karla Lardner in 1:02:20 4th female Vet 40 and 84th /352 overall. In the Caincross race there were 3 runners- well six if you add the dogs Bango, Jenson and Vinny. First home was Rachel Smith and Jenson in 1:10:20 in 10th place followed closely by Jenny Quinn and Bango in 1:11:44 and 15th place and Collette Windsor in 21st with Vinny in 1:17:58. Well done everyone.
In Milton Keynes Antony Scott took part in the Winter Half Marathon; his 24th of the year. He reports: “The course followed the many canal paths. parks and green spaces around Milton Keynes. The only downside was the last mile where the canal had burst its banks resulting in everyone having to wade through almost knee deep freezing water but I loved every minute of it”. Tony finished in1:59:46.
