An excellent weekend of running with great representation from Folkestone running club. Mixed bag of weather over the weekend but the Folkestone warriors came through. On Friday was the Rye Summer Series Anthony Scott took part in the first of 3 runs over the weekend and came in at a time of 55:32 in very hot and humid conditions, Karla Larnder a personal best at 47:02 and Diane Parsons 54:32 Saturday was the ASICS London 10k with amazing runs from Darren Crew 41:51, Jody Stoakes 48:28 and Jessica Harrington 57:31
On Sunday club members braved the hills at Woodchurch on a 5 or 10 mile run Anthony Scott 10 miles 1:30:53 Rachel Smith 10 miles 1:39:17 Ann Whitby 10 miles 1:17 Andy Hadlow 5 miles 43:40 Sterling running effort at the Harbour Wall Banger 7K on Sunday with Karla Larnder achieving a personal best at 36:04, Trudi Curd 44:01 Diane Parsons 42:48 Philip Bridges 41:58 Stuart Sprinks took part in the Hever Castle Festival of Endurance 34 Mile Ultra achieving an amazing time of6:31
