On a cold, dark and damp Saturday morning, while most of use were still tucked up in our beds, Phil Maull and Linnaea Stockall ran their first 50 mile Ultra marathon this weekend in Chester. The course had it all from canal side tracks to big hills and Forrest running through Chester, Delmere forest, Frodsham and then back to Ellesmere Port.

Linnaea was home first in 9:34:14 (66th/500) and Phil finished in 10:00:25. (115th/500). Great conditions made for a fantastic race and great results for both runners.
