Sunday saw the first big race of the year with the Canterbury 10 with 30 FRC runners taking part. The weather was a fine crisp morning but conditions were still somewhat icy. There were some fabulous results with Tom Bean first home in 13th place out of 1144 runners followed by Stephen Male who was 15th overall and 1st male 50-59. Henry Axon finished in 28th place with Josh Pine in 57th. Several runners also achieved a top 15 placing in their age groups. Paul Bartlett was 7th in the 50-59 age category. Karla Lardner and Catherine O’Connor were 13th and 15th respectively in the 45-54 female category. Alan Fletcher was 5th in the 70-99 male category. Well done to all who raced!!
