Folkestone Running Club Juniors win medals at Kent indoor championships

Three Folkestone RC Junior Athletes travelled up to Lee Valley for the Kent Indoor Championships. All three came away with medals. U15 girl Catrina MacArthur won a silver medal in 60m Hurdles achieving a pb of 10.09 winning her heat and taking 2nd place in the final, unfortunately being slowed down after clattering the first hurdle.

In the u15 boys 300m heat Tommy Owler stormed to the front to win in 41.3, in the final Tommy achieved another pb 39.89 and won the silver medal.

In the u17’s Oliver Gregory gained a bronze medal in the 60m Hurdles with a pb of 9.04, in a very strong field, this was a great performance, with Oliver racing for the first time in this age group.
