New year new start for the Folkestone Athletics and Running Club members. Clearly Christmas festivities and overindulgence are put behind us and there have been outstanding results at races this weekend with a number of personal bests achieved.

Wales Cani Trail Half Marathon
Sylwia Tokarska and Poppy the rescue labrador took on the stunning cani trail half marathon in the welsh countryside near Bridgend. The first 6 miles flu by in a hour to hit all technical points and steep hills in the latter part of the race. The temperatures were low resulting in ice patches of which the human part learnt the hard way by having a little tumble. Overall time was 2:53 and 29th out of 78 runners
