In the build up to Christmas, and the bitterly, cold conditions there were very few races run this weekend. On Saturday Joe Bruce and Emma Clayton were competing for Kent in the Southern Intercounties XC. They finished in 16th and 60th place respectively on their debut for the county.

On Sunday, Karla Larnder ran the Maidstone Turkey Run, a 7 mile trail run through the paths and trails around Maidstone. Karla finished the race 2nd in her age category and 6th overall.
A few weeks ago on the 24th November, and a long way away from the cold, Chris Childs completed for GB in the 2022 World Triathlon Age-Group Championships in Abu Dhabi. She completed the 60-64 female AG Super Sprint in a time of 57:29, with a 400m swim time of 11:50, A 10’06km bike ride time of 21:50 and a 2.3km run time of 14:34
