Saturday saw the continuation of the Cross Country league at Danson Park. Races were only for juniors, senior and Vet men and ladies Vet 60. Results were as follows: In the U17 girls race Emma Clatyon finished in 11th place in a time of 21:29. In the men’s event first home for FRAC was Stephen Male in 43rd place(M50) followed by Krzysztof Klidzia 74th in 29:53(M50). The remainder of the team results were Andrew Wright 82nd 30:10(M40), Trevor De Vooght 111st 31:25(SM) Elliot Chapman-Jones 113rd 31:30(SM) Nicholas Steele120th(SM) Phillip Hoyland 144th 32:50(M40) Phillip Heathfield 194th 35:11(M40) Henry Axon 220th 36:46(SM) Simon Coffey 231rd 37;35(M40) Liam Cumber 265th 41:17(SM) Alan Randall 270th 41:57(M60). The teams finished 10th on the day (4 to score) and 9th with 12 to score. Overall standing are as follows: FRAC 3 to score: 9th, FRAC 12 to score 8th. Well done to everyone who took part.
On Sunday, three FRAC ladies were in action at the Chatham Maritime 10k. Vicky Scott was second lady overall in a pb of 44:07 while Anna Thomsen finished just behind her and came 3rd lady in a pb time of 44:21 whilst Sarah Nunn was 9th lady and 4th Vet 40 in 49:29. A fantastic effort by all three.
