Training during coronavirus (COVID-19)

We are happy to be returning to 2 training sessions a week, Tuesday and Thursdays

You will be training at your own risk, and you must not attend if you are shielding or displaying symptoms of coronavirus.

Before the session

Signing in

You must sign-in to training and allow us to collect your contact information for NHS Test and Trace.

The quickest and easiest way to do this is to sign-in to training online. You can do this in advance of the session, it does not have to be done on the night.

You will be reminded about signing in before the session begins and can do this using your phone, or by speaking to a member of the coaching team on the night. Paper forms will be available to those without digital access.

Before leaving home

Check all published health guidelines, especially that concerning social distancing.

Wash your hands before packing your bag. Include:

  • any food or nutrition needed
  • your own full water-bottle
  • hand-sanitiser.

Check the session on our 8 week plan and program your activity tracker (if you use one).

Allow enough travel time to complete a solo warm-up and dynamic stretching before the session begins at 6:45pm.

Do not arrive earlier than 6:45pm – If meeting others for a warm-up, do so off-site and in groups no larger than 6 (unless from two households) inline with social-distancing guidelines.


Sessions will be held at Three Hills Sports Park from 6:45pm.

Unlike in 2020, there is no need to cap numbers or to train in small groups. However, everyone should still maintain 2-metre social distancing as much as possible.

We’ll split ourselves across the site but this will be managed by the coaching team on the night: Follow all instructions given by the coaching team to ensure a swift start.

Thursday social run

On Thursdays a social-run is available, led by our coaching team in small groups. Spaces will be limited depending on the number of coaches available so spaces will be allocated on the night on a first-come-first-served basis.

Runners wishing to join the social run must arrive at 6:30pm to be sorted into groups.

Anyone denied a space because of availability will be welcome to join the interval session on the field.


The facilities at Three Hills Sports Park such as lockers, water fountains and showers, will not be available except for the downstairs toilets. (If you need to use the toilet during a session, you do not need to ask permission.)

You should arrive to the session dressed ready for training, with your own full water bottle, and return home after to change and/or shower.

After the session

Do not hang around after the session: The unlimited numbers rule ends as soon the session does. Return home safely within your own household groups/bubbles.
